Dr. Cobb recently moved to Fredericksburg in 2014 after practicing for 2 years in San Antonio. He was born and raised in George West, Texas. His first introduction to chiropractic came after he injured himself while playing baseball in high school. After being treated by a local chiropractor, he was back on the diamond much quicker than he expected. This great experience helped change his career path towards becoming a chiropractor.
He earned a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology at the University of Texas in Austin. While attending college, he worked as a chiropractic assistant in Austin. Neal still enjoys returning to Austin to watch his Longhorns play football at Darrel K. Royal stadium.
He earned his doctorate from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas. During chiropractic college, Dr. Cobb interned as a student doctor treating athletes with the Rice University athletic department in Houston. He also had the opportunity to do an orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery clinical rotation. These internships allowed him insight into how chiropractors and medical doctors can co-manage patients to help speed up the recovery time.
Dr. Cobb treats conditions of both the spine and extremities. He also offers nutritional consultations and advice. He is certified in Active Release Technique and Graston Technique. These two forms of treatment can be used together to help alleviate soft tissue injuries. Rehabilitation is a key component Dr. Cobb uses to get his patients back to doing the activities they love.
Neal enjoys spending his weekends and spare time outdoors. He has a passion for hunting, fishing, golf, football, basketball, soccer, skiing, disc golf, and pretty much any other sport you can think of.
He is an active member in the Fredericksburg Nimitz Rotary Club, Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce, and the local UT Texas Exes alumni association chapter.
Dr. Cobb believes that when doctors and patients work together to accomplish a common goal, they can attain amazing outcomes. Give him a call and he would be glad to help you with any health concern you may have.
